Quick Update

Meet Triton the radiation machine that I visit daily (weekdays) for my radiation treatments!

This is the me in the machine with my sweet mask that locks me into place.

Friday marked the end of my first 2 weeks of radiation and chemo treatments.  This has envolved daily visits to the hospital to get blasted by a machine that emits radiation in very precise locations that have been mapped out by all the doctors working with me.  I am also taking a chemo pill daily through out the entire week.

Treatment has not been to bad but I have definitely felt side effects as a result of it.  I tire out really quickly and sometimes feel sick from the chemo pill.  I have been given anti-nausea medication for the sickness which works out fairly well, I actually take the chemo pill pretty early in the morning so I am able to sleep off any initial sickness I may have felt otherwise.  The radiation does leave me pretty tired through out the day especially if I have a pretty active morning.  I do get weekends off from radiation treatment which is a nice break from the daily hospital visits!

Over all I am doing fairly well, some days definitely are little better than others but for the most part I am doing well.

Just want thank everyone for their continued support and willingness to come alongside me through this!  I am an extraordinary blessed person and could not imagine a better group of family and friends!
